Amazing how easily all the screws come out for you. All these guitars look like they were found in the same place

This guitar is barely $200 new, the damage looks like it's from 1908 instead of 2008. While the restoration is impressive, the video is as legit as pro wrestling.

Love all the restorations done here, but the last acoustic one, there is no way I could have sprayed that black, I'd have to have it the same colour my OCD was going mental lol

Mahogany wood sure is great looking , I don't understand why people paint it when staining it makes it look so much better .

It’s amazing that all those screws came off so easily. To my experience, the most frustrating part to mod or just repair a guitar is the difficulty of removing all the spare parts and rusty screws.

I have this exact guitar I got it for €20 and spent about €20 on paint, filler and some new nobs. It plays beautifully not at all like a €100 guitar ( actually the cheapest I’ve seen them online is €230)

I have an Epiphone Special...but my guitar is a ES-335 model. I think what they do is when they have extra guitar parts at the end of a series or model run is they assemble as many guitars as they possibly can from those extra parts and then slap a SPECIAL sticker on it. Im fairly certain that the neck on my guitar was originally meant for a CASINO. The pick ups and other hardware are all top notch P-90's with Grover tuners designated for Gibson they didnt cut any corners or put cheap hardware on my Special. I get great sounds from my guitar and in the end, thars all that reallt matters, right? It has great action and intonates with hardly any adjustments. All in all, what I wound up with was a guitar that should have sold for $1, 500 or so yet I purchased it for around $700. The seller was up front about all the specs and was honest about it being a SPECIAL BUILD & RUN, with a very low limited number in that particular run. If I were to resell it I might consider $1800 to $2, 000 but I dont see that ever happenig becausr it is one of the best guitars that Ive ever owned.

Nothing was wrong with that guitar except the fact that paint and finish remover was carefully applied and removed so that it would as if it needed restored. They did the same thing to both guitars.

I take it that the original guitars were stored in a sandpit...?
