Hey dude. Awesome video. Btw, would it be theoretically possible to capture sounds from such tiny creature? Like a special mic + noise reduction then amiplification...or do tiny bugs just not make sound waves?

Thanks. Sorry so long in replying. I think it is actually related to movement. It's just that the larva is placed between a coverslip and a glass slide so translocation is restricted.

What is that wave of peristalsis-like contraction going from back to front. It sure isn't helping in locomotion....

This is another case of pseudoparasitaemia. We have quite a number of cases where people find this in their toilet bowls and think they have passed out a worm in their stools!
