Most of the "console advantages over pcs" have been removed over the years. "Just put the cartridge in and play" is long gone. These things are pcs anyway. Why get a proprietary pc and not a regular pc? 🤷‍♂️

I think that their VR is even more heartbreaking than the side panels. On paper, one of the best VR headsets out there right now, but doesn't support next gen features on PC, and the PS5 Native Catalog is shamefully small...

From a PC gamer’s perspective, the PS5 Pro’s price isn’t actually that crazy. You’re getting a 4070 / 7800XT level of performance for $700. Sony should’ve stuck with the original PS5 and made another cheaper version of the PS5 like the PS3 era PS3 Slim and later the Ultra Slim. Consumers aren’t dying to get more power, they just want better value for money in the lower to lower middle price range. The vast majority of developers aren’t pushing the current PS5 hardware to it’s limits outside of the few exclusive titles like Demon Souls, a new PS5 Pro is unnecessary.

I love the PlayStation but the side panels have been such a disappointment. I have the Spider-Man ones and they’re great…except now I can’t use them on the pro.

Not to mention, they’ve barely released any cool game themed ones. Back with the ps4 we had so many different themed consoles and I thought with with removable panels, we would have panels for every big Sony game…nope.

Sony has lost me. Between the garbage with Crunchyroll and Sony's involvement in the monopoly. The absolute lack of unique PS5 titles. These terrible decisions. And other Nintendo level anti consumer behaviour from Sony. The PS2 will always be my favourite console. And the Metal Gear Solid PS4 will always be my favourite console to keep on display. But Sony has lost me, they are no longer a company I trust

I didn’t even buy Sonys plates for my ps5 slim I bought these dope low profile vented plates that have this cool wavy carbon look. I don’t know the brand but hey it ain’t Sony and my ps5 actually fits my desk now

The sound advice argued by any sensible person today is just as useful as it has been every day of the last 25 years: just buy a pc and be done with it.

If you really want to spend $500 to play one game you can’t wait 6months for, you deserve the frustration and headaches.
