The interviewer is a fashion journalist so it makes perfect sense for her to ask about costumes. In fact usually the actors are told who is coming in and their publication so I firmly believe she knew.

The reason this clip has resonated so much is that most women, have seen or experienced this hideous social isolation strategy. Lively immediately adopted this bullying tactic which Posey was thrilled to participate in. Perhaps the reason Lively hasn't apologised is that she thinks she's untouchable.

Something that stood out to me was when Blake, without looking at the interviewer, said, "I wonder if they would ask the men the same question." The interviewer, looking directly at Blake, responded with, "I would." In that exact moment, we can see Blake bits her bottom lip in a clear sign of annoyance, indicating that she heard the response but continued to ignore the interviewer.
