I am an over packer. I have tried to pack light and every time I do it doesn’t work out. Earlier this year I went to Idaho and Utah and saw that the highs were going to be in the seventies so I packed accordingly. I missed the part about the crazy winds they were having and didn’t realize that without the humidity I’m used to it would feel much colder. I spent the whole trip freezing and saying “I packed so wrong.”

I’m going to Alaska fairly soon and it’s long overdue! I’m looking forward to going to Chena hotsprings. I love the idea of taking yourself on a solo trip with air bnb for your birthday! Most people wouldn’t consider that as an option! What a beautiful way to spend time on your birthday on your terms doing what you want to do and enjoying the heck out of your own company and the companionship of nature🌺😊

As I minimalist and a flight attendant…I love shocking people with bringing my backpack and my small crossbody on a two day trip. People are like “that’s it??” And I’m like yeah. It’s the same amount I fit in my roller board but I like the backpack because I don’t have to carry it up stairs when I get home. It’s so convenient.

Recently went on a 4 day trip with a back pack and tote bag full of my stuff. I was a little over packed tho, I had a Run, Anniversary Dinner and Day time events going on ha, then I thought I was going to another event but didn't so a little over packed but still pretty light. 👍 😊
