El&N cafe Lowndes street

EL&N café is literally my idea of HEAVEN! I LOVE pink, anything pretty and girly and of course instagrammable!! I booked the 'Milk and Mayhem' afternoon tea, as there are only a few EL&N cafe's you can book and this is one of them, but it has to be for afternoon tea..

Ambience: Heaven for me! I walked in and was escorted downstairs by the lovely Leannah who felt like our personal waitress! Our booking was at 7pm on a Thursday which must have been a good time as it was COMPLETELY EMPTY! We had the whole downstairs to ourselves!! (for a little while lol)
Everything was flowery, and pink with mirrors with a giant purple phone for selfies!! Perfection! This place is perfect for a girly night.

Drinks: We had the afternoon tea which comes with unlimited tea of our choice. We both chose a herbal option called 'Flora tea', which had a flower in it which was lovely. The tea also comes with a bottle of milk for our cereal, and they had lots of options - skimmed, semi, oat, soy, almond etc. We didn't drink the milk! I would have liked a few more options, at one point I wanted a diet coke but no one was around!

Food: A very quirky take on an afternoon tea. The sandwiches were nice but my friend didn't like that it was white bread! There was one salmon and dill, one avocado and feta and one chicken and peppers. They were ok but I think they could have been tastier! The cakes were amaze! The pistachio cake was the best, and there was a nice chocolate one too. My favourite part was the scone - not your usual scone, the consistency was heavier and I asked for more jam which I was happily given!

Customer service: It was great! Leannah happily took loads of photos for my instagram and they were really laid back about us/ME walking around everywhere to take photos and videos. Leannah was very attentive, always asking us if we were ok and other management/staff too. We felt very special!

Overall: Amazing customer service and ambience. I would have liked the food to be a bit more prettier - maybe a pink tea! Also, the table we sat at has a gap at the ends and it was pretty dirty! That's my only comment!! I want to visit all of these cafes!!!!!!

Score: 7/10 - I would definitely go again!
