You will NEVER guess where this is - A VANLIFE dream.

This is what the end of Quebec looks like - it's the far West point on Route 148. You can't go any further West on a Quebec highway, and it's one of my favorite spots in the region.

What's Route 148? It's a network of vanlife friendly places that are welcoming travellers on wheels with open arms. A project developed by the Pontiac, Visages Régionaux, and Vanlife Sagas in order to help the Quebec vanlife community explore its own province.

In this episode, we are meeting with Dominick Menard (Bonvelo), a Pro Canadian Mountain Biker and a full time vanlifer. He will show me around the region with his gravel bikes before I bring him on the most epic fishing session of all times.

Hello from SouthWestern Ontario! I just drove by the Pontiac Region a week ago on my way from Manitoulin Island to the Val des Monts area in Quebec. I wish we had known about this new epic Route 148. Looks like there are some amazing places to see. (Also, I usually don't like videos with subtitles, but I'm trying to brush up on my French Canadian, so, Win-Win!) It might be worth mentioning to your audience, that most Quebecers are bi-lingual so even if you don't speak French, you'll be just fine. (Not like in the 90's during the referendum years. I found that period very painful to visit Quebec back in my 20's.) Anyway, it's not called La Belle Province for nothing! It truly is a beauty! Good luck in your endeavours!
