Follow Asphalt Kingdom:

Asphalt Kingdom’s commercial grade asphalt emulsion sealer is a great environmentally friendly alternative to coal tar sealer in areas that do not allow coal tar or when there is a coal tar shortage.

Asphalt emulsion is used by DIY'ers looking to seal their own driveway/property, as well as by seasoned asphalt maintenance professionals. Asphalt Emulsion sealer is designed to protect and rejuvenate your asphalt leaving it fresh, flexible and looking brand new. Asphalt Emulsion sealer is a more “green” alternative to coal tar, as it contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Asphalt emulsion sealer is made with the same base element of the surface it’s protecting (asphalt). Asphalt emulsion sealer is faster drying with no strong odour, skin irritation, and more flexibility (no surface cracking). It dries to a matte black finish that attracts the sun and helps to melt ice and snow in winter.

Asphalt Kingdom's asphalt emulsion sealer comes in 55 gallon drums (for farm or estate driveways, 275 gallon tote’s (for small lots) and pallets of four or more (55 gallon) drums (for parking lots, runways or golf course park cart paths depending on your needs.

Applying fresh asphalt sealer every 2-3 years greatly extends the life of your asphalt investment (at a fraction of the cost of replacing). Asphalt emulsion sealer makes your asphalt surface look brand new. It repels oil, water, ice, and common chemicals.

Asphalt Kingdom's asphalt emulsion sealer is ready to use and should not be diluted more than 5%. This sealer can accommodate traffic within 8 hrs of being applied.

It's quite frankly a sacrificial coat which will last a year if you're lucky. The tougher the product is to spread on the driveway, the better it is for durability. I had some workers accidentally put roof tar on part of my 10 year old driveway 10 years ago. We had to throw a little sand on it until it dried. 10 years later that section still looks new. I've put 5 coats of the emulsion crap on the other part over the years. It looks like crap and the other is still looking great. Most of the roof tar is still on protecting and holding the asphalt together. Emulsion is a poor epa inspired product which is ultimately using more resources than it's oil based cousins.

Hi I recently sealed a driveway with bitumen emulsion and the customer has come back that after two weeks it is still sticky and tacky
Can you please advise the most suitable method to remove excess bitumen so it can dry out / cure completely ?
Thanks in advance
