I have seen that the littlextera riceberry vitamin c face serum gives my skin brighter and evens out my pale skin tone. It also diminished my fine lines. Now I use it consistently in my skin care routine. One more thing I observed is that it helps wounds like scratches or marks from blemishes heal faster. In the morning, before leaving for the office, I apply rice berry sun screen and moisturizer on top of the face serum. Before this, I used minimalsts serum, but it didn't give me any visible results. Now I'm very happy with my current skin care routine, and I intend to stick with it for a long time.

Niacinamide helps regulate sebum production and reduces inflammation, while Vitamin C brightens and evens skin tone. Both can help with hyperpigmentation, but Vitamin C may be harsh for sensitive skin. As someone who doesn't have acne-prone skin, I preferred Vitamin C, because my main aim was just to brighten and maintain an even skin tone. However, after compromising my skin through dermaplaning at home, I started developing some acne. I have now started using Niacinamide instead of the Vitamin C to help reduce inflammation. That's not to say Vitamin C isn't good for acne-prone skin. It was just my personal preference to only use one serum under my moisturiser and SPF while my acne was still active. Most people with active acne opt for ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, which is proven to be more helpful. Everyone's skin is different. Its best to talk to your doctor or a dermatologist about what's best for you.
