During my early days of learning fly fishing, I learned to tie the non-slip loop knot from Tim's video

Makes such an interesting session with such a simple process. I would enjoy seeing more like this. I am a tyer who had learned by YouTube and Orvis' fly tying school. I don't really get to tie with others.

Another tip for the end there, instead of the bodkin, I use the short waste pieces of hackles off the bench or floor to push through the eye of the hook (push in from top and pull through the bottom). The vanes do a great job of soaking up and pulling off any head cement from the eye.
