How bad is NO MINI-TURBO in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

how important is the mini turbo (drift boost) stat? it's very difficult to do advanced techniques with the minimum mini-turbo stat.

- metal tires / gold tires / slick tires / cyber slick

- nearly lowest handling (turning) stat
- nearly fastest / highest speed combo
- nearly lowest acceleration
- nearly heaviest / highest weight stat
- lowest minimum mini turbo stat
