Wasn't it a Eucharistic Miracle which inspired the Church to institute the Solemnity of Corpus Christi? [this year this will be on June 2]
Remember though that the Miracle of Transubstantiation takes place in every Catholic Mass. Pity that so many Catholics have come to doubt the Real Presence and think it s just a symbol, or else misunderstand it in a Lutheran way [consubstantiation]. Our priest here is very good and does preach about the Real Presence and we have Adoration most Tuesdays and Thursdays after Mass. The neighbouring Parish has it on Fridays. As this is year B, there are 5 extra chances for priests to deliver Eucharistic Homilies, as besides Maundy Thursday [March 28] and Corpus Christi there are also Sundays 17 to 21 in Ordinary Time when the Gospels are from the Eucharistic Teaching in John 6 [July 28 to August 25 inclusive].
