The guy in the song went to Seinäjoki and in Seinäjoki people talk Finnish, not Swedish. That is why KAJ uses Finnish words.

There is classic Tango, and a Finnish Tango that is sort of cultural song/dance i Finland. "Bara bada bastu" and a lot of there songs are actully "tangos" (in the rythm) and one instrument that is often used are a accordion.

I think generally it's not that big of an issue to be single and "past wedding age" in Finland. This guy's problem was that he was a 37 y.o. single *still living with his mom* and she was probably fed up with that...😅

In the nordic countries the ideal is to not get married. Most modern families chose not to get married and start a family anyway. Weddings are expensive and more than half of all weddings end in divorce so..

It's from 1997 singer is well known artist and former "Tango Queen". Second song she performes is a tango.
