that's a great prank food, it looks so much like a nice seasoned rice dish, put some hot sauce on top to disguise the smell and hand it out

If you separated the colours and had enough of each colour you could probably dye the rice. Then take a small portion of each colour to make a full portion, mix it up and have rice that looks and tastes like a bag of skittles.

You could try making the rice separately as a sweet rice, and then serving it in milk with the skittles. Sweet rice in milk with raisins was a common desert in my family growing up, and that wouldn't be too far removed from that!
