As someone else said, Russia is a target rich environment.

Deeper and deeper, as promised. Glory to Ukraine.

Im wondering if Ukrainian is telling Russia that if they don't withdraw from their invasion, that Ukraine will leave them without the ability to defend themselves.

I guess the radar didn't see it coming.

Yes it’s the electronics that are important!

These are very good strikes that reveal how vulnerable RU's strategic nuclear defence actually is. The West is not going to start a nuclear war, but RU will have to invest more and more money to rebuild and protect these sites just to maintain the pretence of a functioning early warning system.

So much for creating a buffer zone between Russia and NATO. Way to go Vlad.

The equipment at the back could be power supply and cooling equipment.

High-powered radars need quite a bit of cooling if you don't want to fry the electronics, and at a minimum cooling helps avoid excessive "noise" in your returns that you send off for signals processing and analysis.

You don't really need to damage the array itself, which might be tricky given their lattice-like structure. Just knock out the power and cooling units and that big old radar is down until they're replaced 👍🏻

It is amazing to think that the drone flew further than the length of the UK, Lands End to John O'groutes

Poking out the monsters eyes and ears. The data handling facilities behind the array will be full of high value sanctioned western components and most likely skilled technicians who will be just as hard to replace.

The big metal structure is just an antenna, it's a dumb device, it's not a critical active part. The sensitive transmission or receiving equipment in the buildings are the important targets, they are difficult to replace quickly. The transmitter and receiver can be hundreds of kilometres away from each other, but destroy one and the other is rendered useless, they function as a pair.

F16s getting closer, day by day, target by target.

There's pictures from the scene showing damage and that radar will be out of commission for awhile, if it actually was working to begin with 😊

Interesting the radar coverage covers the middle east such as Iran and Yemen . So Iran loses any potential radar assistance if this radar no longer works 🤔

You forgot to insert the video from the Ukranian Volunteer Center at the end of the video i think. Good video as always!

Special Kherson Cat reckons the marks on the concrete are just standing water after rain.
I'm minded to agree.
