Flipper Zero Wifi Dev Board Tutorial: Marauder Firmware Update

Welcome to ModernBroadcast.

In this quick introductory guide and tutorial, I'm going to show you how to add Wi-Fi capabilities to your Flipper Zero device using a $35 development board.

If you're not familiar with the Flipper Zero, it's an all-in-one Tamagotchi-inspired hacking tool that's packed with features like Infrared, GPIO pins, RFID, NFC, IButton, Sub-GHZ, a Micro SD card slot, and even a cute dolphin pet. It's like a Swiss Army knife for hackers and tinkerers.

But if you want to take your Flipper Zero to the next level, you can add Wi-Fi connectivity using the GPIO pins on top of the device and a special development board. This will allow you to connect to wireless networks, send and receive data over the internet, and even control other devices remotely.

In this video, I'll show you how to set up the Wi-Fi development board to use Murader Firmware and connect it to your Flipper Zero device. I'll walk you through the steps and provide tips and tricks along the way, so you can get the most out of your Flipper Zero and unleash your inner hacker.

IF YOUR DEVBOARD FAILS TO FLASH - Press and hold both the reset and boot together, and then plug the device, wait 1-3 seconds, and then let go of RESET FIRST and them let go of BOOT.

I kept having connection issues, flashing wasn’t working because it could not connect “A Fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32-S2 No serial data received”

Yea man great vid, most other F0 vids assume everyone already either done this stuff on other devices or somehow knows the terminology and basic functions. A lot of us are using F0 as a learning device(for better or worse). And I didn’t have to rewind this video once like kother vids I gotta rewind parts like 5, 6, 7 times to catch all the info being machinegunned at me all at once.

Possibly stupid question, but is this supposed to work with the default official Flipper firmware or would this require Awesome Flipper or Flipper Unleashed to use? I've flashed the board but those options aren't under GPIO, and I'm wondering if that's why it's not working or if I've messed up something else maybe.

just a quick note to whoever followed along and it didnt work, you need to click reset on the mother board after connecting your flipper

Love it! Ordered my flipper with wifi board a couple days ago... One thing.. if you 3D printed the case... Why not make the case black like your flipper... And I didn't know they made them black!

DEVBOARD FAILS TO FLASH after adding the murader. Did the whole "hold reset and reboot at the same time, released the reset button then the boot button after it being connected and nothing. - Also flasher marauder has script 1-5 not 1-4. Still pressed 1 + enter and now when I plug in dev board the red light no longer appears and when I go into GPIO all I see is: USB- UART Bridge, GPIO Manual Control, and 5V on GPIO. Care to help? Thanks!
