this is ridiculously annoying considering how much people spend on this game. we NEVER had this issue with the origin app and it’s unreasonable that we can’t play a game that isn’t even online.

I am so glad that I am not the only one having a hard time with the EA App. I now can't play The Sims without internet which when you have really bad internet and you have two other people on said internet it is really frustrating

I switched to having Sims in Steam, then launching it from there. It still uses the EA App in the background for my packs (so I'm assuming it doesn't fix some of the offline app errors), but it's helped to prevent so many EA App bugs. My biggest bug before was just getting the game to launch, and now it instantly starts with Steam, and updates much faster.

the little option to change the bugs to pieces of glass is amazing, i cannot handle bugs due to hallucinations so its a really good feature for me!

The EA app SUCKS. Every single day the app crashes or signs me out or has to restart. I have no idea why they switched from the perfectly fine Origin to this

honestly, i have a mild fobia about the insects that appeared on the game and I was SO SAD bc I was already adding the game to my wishlist and I thought "oh I absolutely cant play this." I'm SO GLAD they have the glass option <3 Also, thank you a lot for changing it, or I would have to skip parts of your video <3

It drives me nuts. Why do I need to log in to a game I own? Why do I need the internet for an installed game?
