I like the AC method better where you multiply the leading coefficient of A with constant term of c, and find the factors of that number like 2x^2+7x+3 2*3=6 2 numbers that add up to 7 and multiply to 6 are 6 and 1 it becomes 2x^2+6x+1x+3 factor out 2x and 1 and you get 2x(x+3)+1(x+3) and your 2 solutions are (2x+1)(x+3) that also adds up to the middle number, and then replace the middle term with those 2 x terms, and then factor by grouping. That's another way to do it that's less "luck" based.
