I just watched this sermon again, it's probably the 50th time, and im sobbing just like I did the first time I heard it. This is the most powerful message you have ever preached Pastor Furtick. I know that God chose you and only you to deliver this one because you delivered it in a way that only you could do, a way that touched every single one of us to the very core of our hearts and souls. I will never stop watching this service because everytime life throws me a curve ball that I didn't see coming, one that leaves me wondering if God is really with me, if he really knows what is happening in my life, I return to this very message and it all makes sense again. It always gives me the strength to keep pushing forward, to keep praising God, and to just keep waiting to see what it is that my heavenly father is trying to call forth in my life. Thank you for this message Pastor Furtick, this one is a lifeline for me...

Pastor Steven - This sermon “The Lazarus Factor” needs to become a book! I love all your sermons but watching this broke me wide open and I sobbed and really felt all the things I’ve buried, avoided and numbed. I could finally see that God allowed me to go through all of it BECAUSE He loves me and wanted me to get to the point of complete surrender so I would finally step aside and stop trying to make things happen and let Him raise my career from the dead. I have been bottling up that cry for decades and I can’t tell you how brutal and beautiful it was to release it all and to know that God was right there with me- not only in that moment- but through every struggle along the way. I’m sure you get millions of these kinds of messages but I pray that this one actually gets to you and you read it and know that God is well pleased with His messenger for getting through to a stubborn nut like me and cracking me wide open!!!! Well done faithful servant!!! Preach!!!

I've watched this service over 15 times since it was originally preached. In the last 3 years, every single day watching multiple services from Elevation, I have now seen all that are available, multiple times, I have learned so much about the Bible, about the word of God, but THIS TEACHING, The Lazarus Factor, has continued to be my FAVORITE story in the Bible. Here I am, watching it yet another time. This teaching touched my soul, to the very core of me. The story about Lazarus, Martha and Mary, is a story that every single person alive can relate to, we can all apply this to our life no matter where we find ourselves, WE ALL HAVE A LAZARUS, we have all been upset with God, we have all been disappointed and felt like God abandoned us or is ignoring our prayers, but like Martha and Mary, we will see that our Heavenly Father was there the whole time and when its time, hes gonna move in a way that we will never doubt him again!! Praise God

I am literally in a "Lazarus" situation right now, I have sent so many texts to Jesus but it feels like he left me on read, I don't know how I will get out of this situation, this disease, I don't know the outcome of this season, it is frustrating, it seems hopeless (all these well-wishes, all the "cliche dialogues"), but I know this, my God is the God of outcomes and I believe him and I give praise to him anyway.

Faith is a patience of mystery.
Praise God not only for what he does, but for who He is

If you look at your circumstances for God's love, you're looking in the wrong places

Never put a Period where God puts parenthesis

How you process disappointment will determine whether fear/faith propels you

"Even if He doesn't He is"

He is with us in the pain of disappointment
