DIY Kimono | An Easy 'How to' Tutorial ✂

This weeks video is all about how to make your own kimono. It's super easy and a kimono is really fun piece to have in your wardrobe. When we asked in our previous sewing video what you guys would like to see us sew, a few of you asked for kimonos, so here it is. Make sure you tweet us if you end up making one :D

OMG I've been looking for the perfect kimono for ages but they always seem to have fringe or lace and I'm not a fan of it. The last time I sewed was for class in year 9 so fingers crossed it'll work out hahaha

Great video, it really helped me understand the shape of a kimono:) I would like to give you a quick tip; press your french seams open, do some extra trimming, then turn them en then press them flat before sewing them close, you'll be able to trim them a lot smaller like this because all the fabric is straightened.
