Hello, I have a Plus subscription and I have a merchant account with the option to collect payment from the customer on the invoice, however I do not see the auto payment or manage option. Instead on the invoice it says “save this payment method for future invoices”. Please help

This also works when we are setting up an new client invoice? I have found that when we sent an invoice for a new client it just show the option "Save payment method to pay faster next time". Thanks for the help, love this tutorials.

I am trying to set up reoccurring invoices that are created 10 days before going out so I can make changes if needed. I really need the invoice to go out on the 20th but the invoice to be Dated for the 1st of the next month. Can anyone help?

If I setup a recurring invoice with monthly auto-pay, and a customer has already paid a large amount in advance so they have a credit with us, will they still get a bill/invoice each month, or will it respect that credit on the account and not charge them monthly until that credit is exhausted?

A few months ago, the autopay option would appear for customers. Now, it does not, it only says ''save this payment method for future invoices". What happened? Is this because of the PCI compliance?

I dont see the feature of Manage or automation after clicking the settings gear. Do i need to upgrade my subscription for this?

Still no token functionality? How do you differentiate monthly invoices i.e. 2024-01 Consulting, 2024-02 Consulting. Recurring invoices are useless without the ability to differentiate. Inuit, please join us in the year 1998 when these features existed in the desktop software.

How do I know if my customer has received the invoice? I created an invoice for today's date then click 'save template.' After several hours, I'll go to the invoices tab and see that the invoice for today isn't in there, though I do see it under recurring transactions. How do I send it to them after clicking 'save template'

@quickbooks, I don't see the auto pay option either. We have the Plus plan.

Mine says, "Save a payment method for faster future payments, Sign in or create account"

I think it said in the beginning you must have Plus or Advanced to have this feature.

We have essentials and used to be able to take an existing invoice and turn it into a recurring invoice where all the data stayed intact (via Make Recurring link at bottom of screen) but since the update, when I have an invoice open on the screen and go through manage>automate and recurring it opens a blank invoice... vs pre-filling with the invoice that was on the screen. There are no other links to make an existing invoice Recurring. What happened? Thanks.

The option to set up autopay does not show up for my customers. I have QBO Plus and QuickBooks Payments. I have spent 5 hours with support in the last three days. We have configured multiple recurring invoice and templates with no luck. The last thing I was told was that there is an eligibility issue with QuickBooks Payments. When the issue will be resolved is unknown.

We need autopay to be mandatory on quickbooks online. The option for autopay on quickbooks desktop is pretty easy. Why can it be pretty easy for quickbooks online??
