Yeahhh because uhmw poly is fantastic at stopping bullets... if its the thickness of a phonebook from the 90's. And typically yes.. if you buy kevlar, it will stop a bullet. Level 1&2 is useless unless you get shot by a toy gun or a .22, level 3a will stop up to .44 magnum, or you can just stop being a pussy and buy level 4 solid plate. Itll stop everything up to and including most rifle rounds, you can get that modular cell plating but it fails much faster than your average AR500 plate armor.
