I just thought of the holidays being mostly in the winter as well. Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving... that's a lot of potential travel, gift-giving, meals out, etc

Our yard expenses increase in the summer with my husband's planting activities. We have increased that budget to compensate.

Gas is up- hello roadtrips! I also have noticed I have been going over on 'fun money/cash'. I try to track when I spend cash in the 'memo' section of YNAB. What I'm seeing is a lot of toonies and loonies being spent at yard sales. Mostly books, home decor or vintage finds.

I don't have kids, so my budget won't change in the ways mentioned in the video. I'm not sure how my budget will change with the season - going to keep an eye out for any interesting trends. :)
