Man i wish it was as easy as just checking that box... it would take me days to rewrite all my events and static classes to get it working. If I ever start a new project I'll definitely start with that box checked. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you! In 2020.3.12f1 it's no longer experimental. I am curious why it's not on by default.

Seems cool. Sadly it does not work for me and breaks the scene.

That is cool! Thanks for the tip! I find there are not enough DOTS vids out there yet, so much you can do with it too so appreciate those as well.

One question - have you built any ECS projects into Windows executables and have you had any issues with that? I do not know whether it is something I have done wrong, but I built this little game prototype where you fly around a round planet and control a swarm of boids (originally based off of the Boids example but tweaked for newer versions of Unity).

Now what ends up happening when I build it into an executable is that the game logic works all fine for the game objects but none of the boids get rendered and as far as I can tell processed either in the final executable. Everything works fine in the editor. I have had the same issue with two unrelated projects now and I am wondering whether it is some sort of missing reference in the final build (do I need to manually include a DLL or something?)

I know this is an extremely vague question but it is difficult to find information or ways to debug the final executables in this fashion. Have you experienced anything like this?

Doesn't that setting not allow code changes though? I thought it was mostly for artists right now.

My problem is that the models I use already have occlusion, but even so it takes time to open play mode, in all projects, either to see how the map looks it takes, only with the camera, it may be that even so the scene, 105 mb in one scene, occupies between 3 to almost 5 gb of ram, it is too
