I've lived in 3 of those 5 states and never had anything happen. A lot depends on where you live and where you go when you go out.

Just based on Detroit being there, Michigan should automatically be on the list. Same goes for Pennsylvania having Philadelphia, Illinois having Chicago, and Tennessee having Memphis.

Did I miss something with the Math, how is Arkansas with violent crime 645 per 100k ranked below Colorado with 492 per 100k as most dangerous

I live in Washington with my mom and It's not that dangerous only If your Aware of your surroundings

I’ve lived in Louisiana all my life and yes, there has been some scary stuff that has happened, but that’s why we have a good police team. I can ensure you that Louisiana should definitely not be number two. It should be like eight or nine.
