Just like the video game, my favorite part was exploring the house before beginning the main cutscene.

Prior to 2020, I thought it was ridiculous how when these kinds of things start, people do the exact opposite of what they're asked to do.

I like how nobody in these fictional zombie universes has ever seen a zombie (or any other kind of scary) movie. EAS on TV says stay inside? Go outside. Freaked out doggie wants in? Go outside. Helicopters and sirens everywhere? Stay outside. Neighborhood houses ransacked with doors open? Keep wandering around outside... at night. It's no wonder they can't contain a zombie outbreak in these fictional universes: nobody has any commonsense (and, ya know, they need the plot to happen).
