if you're worried about longevity or reliability when it comes to those GY6 engines. I've got about 11, 000 mi on mine. Never left me stranded. I use it as my grocery getter I can haul a bucket of cat litter, 40 lb of dog food and 20 lb of cat food on the floor with no issues. 10. Mi home. The best thing I can recommend is to throw the factory carburetor in the trash and buy a slide carburetor for it . makes a huge difference!

Dude, I just found your channel after getting a "junky chinese scooter" and I have been glued to your vids. You explain everything by simple instructions using common sense and your humor cracks me up. But seriously, I have come so far in my knowledge of chinese scooters in one week and its because of your videos, so thank you!

A lot of your twitchy steering can be fixed by taking the ball bearings out of the neck, cleaning them and repacking them or replacing them if necessary.

I have the same motorcycle you repaired in this video, but it's keeway 50 focus. I found it on a random junk and I repaired it like you did, but I'm still don't run with it out of my town, cause it still doesn't have her paper. And your information here was really helpful, thank you.

Thank you so much Paul, for showing us how to trouble shoot and fix so many issues on these China scooters. I just inherited two 150 scooters .they have been in a barn for 8 years because of a family member dying. One had gas put in it and driven 0.8 miles and the other one has 0000 miles and never had gas put in. So far neither one will run . They start right up with a shot of starting fluid in the breather hole but then died because they are not picking up any gas. I figured the one with gas would have junky gas in the carb and need cleaned, but I don't know why the brand new one is doing the same thing. So your carb fixing tutor here should help. Thanks signed.. David.

My favorite part so far is the big sparks from shorting the solenoid right next to the sour cream tank 😂

Excelent video! the comparison and analysis that worthless about reparing the scooter is perfect. At the fist view, it seems could be a great deal to reparir it, but it doesn't. Thanks for that!

You are something... what an amazing video, really;
You push on with such speed, that we get tired from this side, just by watching you cover so much ground in little time *lol*
Now, seriously, that was altogether a terrific job, you covered a whole lot;
funtastic;
thanks.

Is a great spare parts scooter or a cool off-road scooter project. The engine sounds good, it did not even 💨 when it started. Great video as usual.

as much as that's missing parts, i'd do a resto mod on it, turning it into more of a ruckus style scooter. throw some off road style tires, replace the headlights with some baja style units, etc.

Very well done video. My favorite cliff hangar scene was watching the sparks when you used the screwdriver to short across the starter solenoid, right next to the open top plastic cup with gas in it. While in a closed garage. This is not a criticism, and I assumed it would all be okay since the video got uploaded. Clones of the old style ford car starter solenoids are not too expensive, and have much bigger contacts for longer life. I put one on my riding lawnmower for much less money than the "real" one cost.

Great video! Covers near everything. I learned a lot what hoses do what and the CDI I didn’t know about.

i actually have the same model scooter, only mine i a 99cc. 2008 Chunli TMS S3. Mine is all black with red stickers that are peeling, and mine has the turn signals where yours have the small parking lights in the main headlight cluster.. Same speedometer, etc. My airbox turned into dust. I bought it for 10cents from a guy that gave up on it. Runs well after a battery, oil change and a new exhaust + tuning the carb.
