The shorter version sounds like a girl who's coping with the death of her friends/people around her who committed suicide and is considering doing the same. This version sounds like the same girl, but this time she's angry that no one's paying attention to the fact that it's hurting her as well and that no one cares about the fact that she's going through the same things they were.

When I was in my last year of high school, my friends older sister committed suicide and my friend was broken, he didn’t come to class for months. When he did come he was pale and sad, he really was sad and the year after he committed suicide and died. He left a note saying he was going to his sister. 😔

If I had to say what this song means to me, I'd say it's being a trans person. Half the people in the community are either consitering to die, or have attempted and we're all wanted dead anyways. Day after day I hear my people dying. I want to help people when I grow up, not be six feet under.
