"they found her body but not her eyes" and "they took our girls away from home, they're in the woods, their all alone" just makes me feel sick. It's so dark but sadly wayy too true.

I kinda feel bad for Ted Bundy’s daughter. Imagine the hate and slander she gets everyday for being Ted Bundy’s daughter. It’s not her fault she was born to be his daughter or her fault for HIS actions. Heart goes out to her.

as someone who could have been killed easily, when one of my mothers exs was stalking us for over a year and breaking into our home just so he could abuse us i really felt fear. fear that i never knew existed and all i can think about is that line You're not special for winning a game with someone you know was never playing" along with""They took our girls away from home- they're in the woods all alone" and how in way i relate with it.

i fucking love this song because i watch a lot of serial killer documentaries, true crime videos, serial killer movies, etc.
This fuels my anger for the people who've tortured innocent people. A lot of people probably think im weird for being interested in morbid shit so this makes me feel better about being an outcast.

I love the Ted Bundy verse. I hate when I watch true crime and they go on and on about how ‘intelligent’ the killer was, it just eggs on the serial killer fan base, and makes copy cats more likely.

“But he’s ugly..”

Try explaining that to the 13 year old Ted Buddy fangirls

As a criminology student and a girl who’s been obsessed with true crime since I watched Murder She Wrote with my mom when I was little, I am obsessed with this song. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Somehow this makes me think of all the “last victims” who survived. Quick wits and courage helped them survive, and not only that, the motivation to stop their games. Because they know they can’t or won’t be the only one. The ones before them put their hope and spirit into the adjoining victims to survive. I remember the story of a 15 yo hitchhiker who got both her arms chopped off, she played dead, got thrown off of a cliff, and knew she had to survive. She waited until he left for good, and packed her wounds. She didn’t sleep because she knew she would die, and I honestly believe that somehow the spirits of all the women before her helped her to climb back up to the road.

“She had every right, you just caught her off guard tonight.”

Don’t go with someone to a second location. Don’t just allow them to take you. Fight. Even if you die, get their dna under your damn fingernails. Make sure cleanup is messy. Fuck em up. They don’t deserve the satisfaction of an easy kill.

this song isn't just about the romanticisation of serial killers, it's about how a lot of true crime fans overestimate themselves. take the lyrics "Ya' know, Dennis Rader and David Parker Ray actually sit together in Hell
/ Shaking, quaking, terrified that one day, somehow, someway / They might meet me" for example - she's satirizing how many true crime fans will act like they're experts on the subject with the idea that two literal serial killers would be afraid of a teenager who listens to podcasts.

“She could’ve killed you, she had every right but you just caught her off guard tonight” reminds me of the one TikTok with Junko’s case in it 🙁

fun fact; this isn’t a song dissing ted. she’s trying to explain how ted wasn’t smart but the police were just stupid.

1:18 i always get shivers on this part, sometimes about the raspy bass boosted voice and the high pitched-ish voice blending together so perfectly literally scratches the best part of my brain

2:10 this part gives me *chills*. The knocking sound, the scratchy instrumental, the way Penelope's voice sounds in this verse, the lines "They found the body, but not her eyes" and the repeated "Where's the Lord to take care of that?" Each time getting more desperate as the music gets more frantic truly gets the message across
