Just a few months i had a bad allergic reaction to bees, because i was never diagnosed allergic i had to go to the ER and within 2-3 min i went from feeling like i was dying to perfectly fine (some people get stung by bees and get progressively more allergic [why i was never diagnosed was cuz i wasnt allergic before])

Yes, I’ve had to have an EpiPen twice. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I’m all allergic to certain nuts and I look at everything I buy in the grocery store. I like to eat nut bars and cereal bars as treats. The nut that I’m allergic to is an almost all of those so I am limited to just a few kinds of treats.

I almost needed one when my appendix got messed up bad and I felt like my stomach was just slowly crushing itself with a lot of pain but my father kept saying it’s a stomach bug so I just ignored it. I couldn’t sleep and went 2 days without rest with constant vomiting and I finally asked to go the ER. They put some morphine in me and I felt like nothing ever happened and I could run a marathon without rest but then I fell asleep. End of story. I did not need a Epipen

Jokes aside, epi pens played a central role in the "what if...?" scenario i had to play through during my interview to get into paramedic school. I also had to train others how to use auto-injectors filled with other drugs in the army.
