The quiet whisper after it yelled at her like an angry parent

Paper straws in a plastic package. I love it.

I always explain it as being completely wasted, but partly aware of EVERYTHING. Like the stimulation is rough, but you just can't do anything yourself 😭

(FYI, never been wasted and can't really be, but by the way parents and classmates describe it is too similar)

So now I know why I get those shaky weak "Someone either k!ll me or save me I am suffering" moments.

I usually use that as my reminder to eat cuz I forget alot and sometimes it gets really bad

I just explain being low as feeling like your constantly going down a dip in a road when it feels like your organs go up and back down lol

I get dizzy, shaky, and I definitely get very, very weak so I know all about it. I also get very irritable and don’t even think about talking to me cause I won’t be able to respond back with proper English or vernacular. But glucose tablets save the day! YOU ARE A WARRIOR

The best way I can describe my low is like how people describe being drunk. I’m weak emotional shaky bath unaware say dumb stuff sometimes and pretty much that’s it. 💀 currently low but not enough to have the other symptoms other then shakyness

Sometimes a dog can tell you if your sugar is abnormal. It's really neat seeing it happen

I don't have diabetes but I do have blood sugar issues so does my mom. (I got checked it's not diabetes) when my blood sugar is low I always feel like I'm going to fall over like I can't hold my own weight and I shake a lot. My brain also doesn't work well so I can't think straight

Most people would have a hard time understanding that low feeling, but as a type one diabetic it literally makes so much sense!

I'm not diabetic but I have issues with my blood sugar where it drops fast. (There is history in my family for diabetes later in life) it feels like your body gets heavy and you get light headed but don't feel well enough to get food you need. My fiancee has to help me sometimes because of how bad some drops are

I also feel like that when I’m low too, especially when you just wake up😢

Like if you feel like lows are worse then highs

I don't have type 1 or 2, but have fibromyalgia and have learned that my body can't regulate blood sugar (or temperature) well. So I have all the fun of a diabetic without the diagnosis. I used to have generally low blood sugar until a car accident and brain injury and now it goes high too. I've now been sick for weeks and still haven't stabilised. I shake a lot, especially after I eat food. My arms and legs go weak. I feel hot and clammy and can barely talk or think. I feel like my brain is shutting down my body. It's scary because I live alone and the doctors and paramedics here don't take me seriously even though I had a major attack last year and collapsed. The paramedic accused me of faking it until his buddy checked my blood and it was either 21 or 24. I'm in Europe where they use the same good range in Canada as 4 to 8. It's very scary. I'm still shaky as I write this.

I live with my grandma who also has diabetes and sometimes she has very bad lows were she hallucinates. One time when she was recuperating from one of these lows she told my grandpa and I that she though I was a genie and my grandpa was Gargamel from the smurfs. He was trying to give her some juice to help with her low but my grandmother refused by smacking the cup out of his hands and screaming, “stop trying to poison me!” In the moment it was scary but now we all just laugh about it!

I love how juice works for you I have to chew glucose tabs cause juice brings me too high then drops me right back down again I just don’t drink juice in general for that reason 😂😭
