When I player lock I get so confused and it stressed me out. I've never needed it to be honest.

I found green timing dumb so I turned it off.
If you mess it up, you get a horrible shot, if you do it perfect, you get a slightly more accurate shot, but turning it off just is more consistent.

I honestly think the greatest tip anyone can give you in order to be better at the game is learning how to be patient when you’re in the box.. timed finishing works great, not so well if your opponent is controlling his goalkeeper.. the rest of the other tips.. would work once or twice in every game you play, facing off against someone who’s great at defending, you will soon realize it

Green timing doesn’t guarantees a goal every time but you do get more goals

Playing Fifa 23 is like playing volleyball: You raise the level of the goalkeepers on settings to 100, narrow the defensive lines, and set up a ultradefensive strategy.

Repeat those proceedings for your adversary and the match will finish with a score of 25-23.


Defending in Fifa is not hard, but it is definitely defective whenever you are playing alone against the CPU.

Tip number 1 of annoying meta: Take either PSG or Man City. Real Madrid or Bayern also work.
2. Give the ball to Mbappé or some other OP fast paced striker through the middle.

lol majority of goals is just cutbacks. So nah, I rather build up from the middle. Plus it is more satisfying do the work to get that goal.
