The Dead South - House of The Rising Sun *Under The Covers*

We were happy to have The Dead South with their pile of cowboy boots over for a session when they were in Hamburg. They did this surprising cover of "House of the Rising Sun" for us after they played their great song "The Good Lord". We also let them do a classic In Bed with interview. We had a wonderful time!

I enjoy covers, it tells alot about the artist. This song is covered alot. when done correctly, it draws up emotion in the words of the song. there is pain and hurt in this song. These guys had me at the beginning, then they went there own way. Simply amazing interpretation. Why and I just now finding these guys?
