The 4-Strand Round Braid

Показать описание
The 4-strand round braid can be used to make dog leads, lanyards, and it can be braided to make paracord into a larger diameter stronger rope. In this video, @estelawilded demonstrates how to get the braid started. Remember the formula, behind two back over one, and make your braid as long as you need to. It can be finished with splicing, whipping, taping, or glueing depending on your preference.

Thanks for the clear instructions. I sent it to my teenage grandsons. 😊

I held on to my dad’s 97 single cab F-150 since I was 16 years old. Now I’m 39 and I was hesitant to buy a new truck because she had been and still is reliable. 4 days ago I bought me my first truck since having dads truck and I can say I love it but still keeping it and fixing it up. Over 300, 000 with the same motor and original manual transmission. Old doesn’t mean bad just more time fixing things is all. I complain about it but at the same time she’s been my therapy..

This is the braid we used as kids, about a hundred years ago, to make a kick butt bull whip.

What rope are you using for this demo? It looks like 1", solid braid nylon but its hard to tell from just a short.
