I spent almost a year shiny hunting in Pokémon sword for this shiny only nuzlocke! Lots of shinnies and lots of tragic moments.

My first shiny was a Kakuna in Firered, but I didn’t realize it. I caught it, but left it in the box for most of the playthrough. Months later on the same file I ran into a yellow Rattata and looked into it discovering shiny Pokémon for the first time. I then went back into the box remembering my slightly off kakuna, and found I now had two shinies. It was the start of a great collection.

My first shiny ever was a Suicune, I restarted pokemon sword with the extensions passes and on my way to beating the crown tundra, I had to do the expedition thing and at the end I was like “Uhm.. Why does Suicune have blue hair?“ then checked it's summary and started to jump with excitement and hapiness on my bed.

Milo isn’t on roids. Those are farmer muscles. People underestimate how hard farm work is. You’re not gonna become like a sculpted statue, but farm work gives you both muscle mass and physical strength. In fact, between a farmer and a gym rat, the farmer will likely be stronger.

Edit: 6:53, my first ever genuine shiny was a full odds rufflet in scarlet when I was on my way to great tusk. Since I knew what shinies were from watching Pokétubers, I was incredibly excited when it sparkled.

my first every shiny pokemon was actually my very first time playing a pokemon game. I was about 8 years old playing pokemon pearl for the first time and i booted up the game to a shiny turtwig. thankfully i did know what a shiny was from watching my older brother play through the game first and the look on his face when he saw is a core memory of mine. to this day i still always choose turtwig i can’t bring myself to swap

I didnt play the games since scarlet, and when i was casually playing, i came across a shiny azurill. I put it in a luxury ball and named it 'myfirstshiny'. Later I remembered about it, and now Easter Egg is one of my strongest
