Anytime you confront them by saying “so you’re saying you’ll take me to jail?” They start back peddling very quickly. It’s like they know the law but are hoping you don’t so they can break it and you’re none the wiser.

Ever heard a cop say “everyone’s a damn lawyer these days”? That is usually said by a bad cop that gets checked for sidestepping laws/protocol/SOP.

We kinda have to be our own lawyers these days, especially if you don’t have the funds to keep one on retainer that constantly follows you around giving you advice and protecting you.

You can not go inside a public building and request services while recording with a camera because that is a trespass according to those inside.
(At least I'm pretty sure it could be but let me check with them inside first -- because as a law enforcement officer, I don't know the law).
