That feels so sad. My dad was a glider pilot and I wish I had recorded more of his experiences during and after the war. I am so grateful for these men who put it all on the line, to save us from fascism and tyranny. I love listening to their stories, and I honor them.

We need an initiative to get people to interview ww2 vets in their family and send the videos into this channel. We lose almost 400 badasses a day.

I love listening to New Englanders tell their stories in particular. They have a certain lightheartedness and modesty even when talking about the toughest times.

Wow. He had it better than most but he still done his part. Sounds like he may have had some fun along the way.

I'm not comparing my life to him but I've spent time from my family and the short time I was gone I felt like a different person I can't imagine how much he felt

Merci mille mercis, thank you very much Mr Felton! I am so grateful that young Americans saved us from Nazis, and paid the highest price ! France, me, my children we shall never forget the braves from Omaha beach and all the Overlord operations.
