That tow truck infuriates me. Too lazy to dolly or pull the driveshaft. I watched a tower local to me do the same thing doing a tail hook on a grand caravan years ago - I'm glad I never needed his services.
I've done a gas tank patch at -15C (about 3F) using Seal-all and a small piece of Denim. That patch was still holding several years later when the rust made the car unsafe to keep on the road.

Years ago I fixed my rusty broken exhaust pipe with a soup can and hose clamps. Forgot about it and drove it for several more years like that !

Worked in an auto parts store that did repairs and a customer brought a car in for inspection and when he put the car up into the air and he saw an exhaust system that was put together with pieces of 2/3 old pipes that the owner went to the junkyard and cut pieces to try to fix it using 20 muffler clamps and wire to hold it up and when you started the car up it sounded like a truck, we called the customer and told him that he needs the whole exhaust system replaced from the manifolds to the rear, told him a price and told us to put the car down and would pick it up, but the state trooper was doing checks on the inspection records that the mechanic did, he saw the car and read the inspection report and waited for the owner to arrive because he took the stickers off and took the license plate off.When the owner arrived he started yelling because he said that he fixed it which was a lie and the state trooper scraped the present inspection stickers off and took the license plate off, issued $400 in tickets and told him that until the exhaust system is replaced and he is called to inspect the repairs and approve the replacement stickers to be put on the windshield and that he has to get the tickets paid and had to go to Harrisburg to get the DOT and judge approval for him to get a new license plate and show him that everything is paid and that all of the approval paperwork is in order, $300 in exhaust replacement and $ 50 for inspection and $650 in tickets and fines to retrieve the car from the mechanic where I worked

Love this channel. Very entertaining even for a non mechanic. The semi must have cost a fortune to fix. And the old cars. They don't look like old cars to me I remember when they were new. How did that happen? They were new yesterday! Right? LOL Thanks for sharing

I patched my exhaust with a tin can and hose clamps before. Worked okay for years.

What in the actual hell lol. These videos are becoming like a train wreck you can't look away. And yes growing up around cars and trucks i can tell you when a turbo goes its a total mess. Oil and metal shrapnel goes everywhere.

Those exhaust welds were intentional, right? I'm guessing done with a 12v battery and jumper cables. And beer.

To set the story; A Long time pre-covid ago, my offsider and I both had the flu. I had my Diesel 4wd serviced while I was sick, (picked up and delivered home), our first day back and we still can't smell and breath too good. Driving home and I thought I could see smoke behind me, so I go to check the brakes on my black 15x 5x 5 trailer and slide of the side due to it being covered in oil. The A frame and front wall dripping with oil, under the front of the 4wd is dripping, and we open the bonnet on my white vehicle and the bay and hood is just oil. Under we discover the sump pug is now gone. Seems the Mechanic had only finger tightened it in. Had the trailer been white, it would have looked like that truck. Sold that truck at 440, 000 ks 5 yrs ago and it driving around my area.

To me you're like a car doctor. Sometimes I don't see whats wrong or I miss whats bent, twisted, blocked, etc. I love it. My doctor on the other hand tells me I'm bent, twisted, blocked, etc. Fortunately she's a cutie-pie that looks better as she ages like a fine wine.
