Roblox Extension HACKED

Popular Roblox Google Chrome extension SearchBlox has been hacked and is stealing Limiteds and Robux.

Quick update, the guy who updated the shirt at 1:01, believed to be one of the people behind it, has been terminated with millions of Robux in Limiteds. Good shot a lot of that gets returned. Contact Roblox support if you got hacked.

This is my tipping point. I’m uninstalling all my extentions relating to roblox. I don’t feel safe using third party apps and extentions anymore.

These people didn't deserve what happened to them, but still, its an unverified-reuploaded plugin from the chrome web store, what do you expect? Along with that, the fact that the plugin allowed players to find ANYONE in ANY SERVER was just screaming "bad idea." If someone had this they could just stalk you wherever you go, and harass you however they want. Similar code might've been used during the time period of bots stalking youtubers. Shoutout for ROPRO devs for mentioning this though, good people.

Edit: Yes, there are good things that came with this pluggin, and it could be useful at times, not only for evil. I am just pointing out the bad of what came with it and ranting about it. If you used it for good, good for you.

Turning off trading is actually worse because then they will sell your limiteds and its harder to rollback sold items because roblox think you sold them.

If your gonna download an extension make sure to not use one that claims to exploit or bypass something thats not to be bypassed, odds are its gonna be something fishy and you will be in for a terrible ride.

Do you think anything like this could happen to Roblox+ or BTRoblox soon? Or are they safer and more protected than these extensions?
I really like the additions of BTRoblox because it makes the website SO much easier to use, but I also don’t want my account to be hacked

This is sad. First it's plugins getting hacked and now it's chrome extensions. What has Roblox become? Stay safe everyone.

I think this might have happened to me last year, I lost all my limiteds and robux. I had like 40k worth of limiteds, and around 5k ish in robux. I emailed roblox about it many different times and they always say that can't do anything about it because they think I was apart of it or something, from what I understood about it.

I feel like even if you have other extensions, there is probably gonna be more hacking incidents. So I undownloaded all of them just to be safe.

The one that I believe was behind the attack was the user named “ccfont” since the stolen limiteds on rolimons were all going to him.
