The biggest Roblox hack happened

a couple days ago a Roblox google chrome extension thing SearchBlox was actually a scam

This is really scary how 200k+ people got hacked just from a chrome extension. But on the other hand I’m glad that this situation is out and that this problem will get resolved and hopefully people will get there stolen items back. All of the victims will get double for their trouble!

What’s scary is that i had this extension a while back, but deleted it because i deemed it useless. Now looking back, i just dodged a bullet. My account had redvalk and a pretty good amount of robux on it, so i would have lost alot.

The fact that its 200K+ people that downloaded it and that doesn't even count alt accounts is terrifying. There has to be WAY more than 200K accounts :(

This is really scary finding out that this was happening. I've never downloaded any extensions for Roblox because I know they're all scams, but I didn't know it was actually becoming a problem right now. I hope Roblox can figure this out and return any stolen items to those who were affected.

One thing I don't understand is why the extensions were even made in the first place, because we all knew that it would be a huge problem at one point, right? Anyway, I really hope Roblox fixes this and this problem doesn't stick around for too long.

Usually I doubt Roblox would do anything, but with something as big and widespread as this, I doubt they could get away with just sweeping it under the rug, it’ll hurt the business

oh, jeez. I genuinely feel bad for the people who lost a lot of things from this extension. I’ve been scrolling through the comments and I’m happy people say they deleted off their computer lol

To be frank, I almost had downloaded the extension due to it being suggested to me. The only reason I hadn't was because I simply forgot to download the extension. Glad I didn't to be honest.

I lost 3.5k robux, NOT SAYING I USED IT TO TRACK DOWN YOUTUBERS OR ANYONE, but that was only because I kept randomly installing new roblox extensions, and searchblox appeared to be one. Safe to say I bought my 3.5k back, although some people lost like 100k. The gamepass that the extension made me purchase was from someone’s starter place, like a random users starter place.
