The greatest physicist of all time is… Albert Einstein.
Here's all the ways we know that general relativity is right, including scientists' recent observation of gravitational waves!

Sometimes I wonder if Einstein was actually a time traveller.

He was not always right. But he presented quantum physicists with a real challenge to confirm their _'spooky actions at a distance.'_ It took a while for them to come up with an experiment capable of resolving the issue. Even when he was incorrect, his insight shook the world of physics.

This video is pure gold. Whoever thought of the illustrations is a genius. I really love the sonification of gravitational waves. Thank you, It's Okay To Be Smart.

Regarding gravitational time dilation: Even a uniform gravitational field will cause clock at one point in the field to run at a different rate than another clock at a different point along the field. The difference in the rates of the two clocks depends on the strength of the gravitational field, and the distance between the two clocks along the gravitational field. On a side note, according to Newton's theory, light would not be bent all, due to the fact that light has no mass.

I'm glad you mentioned PBS Space Time, their videos provide some fantastic depth on some subjects you touched on, although I must say that your explanation of the photon clock was more easily digestible. Keep up the great work!

comparison of him with kanye beyonce or taylor swift is disrespect to such great man.

This is the first time I've ever even partially understood anything physics related.
You're a great teacher!

Well just ask Albert Einstein... He invented space.

PBS Spacetime is one of my all-time favorite youtube channels, and it was how I discovered this amazing channel as well (when they suggested a star wars themed video from here).

I can't praise PBS Spacetime enough, it's truly awesome.

I'm a simple man, I see Dr. Who references in a video about Einstein, I press like

Thank you guys so much! I'm working with KPBS to get long term subscribers. This is the kind of stuff I need to tell cable/internet users " we don't watch TV"  to support PBS and get them on board. You rock !!

I love Einstein. If we had a time machine and brought him to now, how would he react about being right every time?

In the photon clock, would the bottom accelerating towards the photon not council out the top accelerating away???
