the 4 walking pichu's are from the start of a pokemon movie, theres like this mini-movie, Pikachu and his friends are left on a skyscraper in Big City by their trainers, who go off to prepare an unknown surprise for the Pokémon. Pikachu meets the Pichu Brothers, saving the younger one from falling off an opposite building.

The fact that i still have a working Gameboy Color with Pokemon Pinball makes me so happy!
I was NOT a careful child with my things, with both my Pokemon Yellow and Silver games having gotten a trip in the wasking machine before (still worked afterwards!), but somehow this fragile cartridge that broke for all my friends in a few weeks, still works for me over 20 years later...

When my family and I would take vacations to the Alabama coast, one of the McDonald's in Mobile had that *exact* Ronald McDonald statue sitting in the position Jack is making on a bench right behind you as you ordered. We'd stop by there without fail so my parents and sister could tease me about it. Imagine my elation when they told me that it was gone a few years ago, as someone who finds clowns genuinely unsettling.

6:05 I remember this ad! It was on a gen 2 promotion CD for Crystal, Stadium 2 and the anime, I got it from the official Pokémon magazine so in a roundabout way the Pokémon company were pushing this ad.

Seeing "Hitachi" pop up made me very nervous...

The premise of the ad was that Pokemon Stadium 2 is so fun that the kid would rather play it than look at the bikini model or ride dirt bikes.
