This is amazingly good, like actually, even without the guitar this would sound amazing. The fact that this exists, if you listen to Sailor Song and then this (at least in my opinion, I was raised to listen to music well enough to fully listen and pay attention to the lyrics and to try and dig out the true hidden meaning behind songs, as most songs have a hidden meaning instead of the meaning that the singer/writer says is there), it actually gives two vastly but relatable perspectives, that . Sailor Song's perspective is essentially where the singer is lovestruck, or drunk on love if you want, and obsessed with the person their talking (singing) about, while this perspective is hinting at, while the other person is willing, their more reluctant, less obsessed and lovestruck/drunk on love but more touch starved and wanting the others touch more than their love, and the lyrics for this also hint at them wanting the other (The one that's perspective we listen to in Sailor Song) to basically live life, as a common thing when it comes to someone being so deeply in love with another person to the point of obsession is letting everything else in their life fall apart (I should know, I've been so deeply in love with someone to the point of obsession, letting everything else aside from the other person in my life fall to shambles). Anyways, ignore my ADHD (possibly AuDHD, not self diagnosing, hopefully going to go get tested after my birthday to see if I am, wish me luck) ramble regarding this. This is a really awesome twist/perspective flip on the song, I would absolutely love to see this song on Spotify.

there's this girl, i definitely shouldn't have but i developed feelings for her. i heard her listen to sailor song once (how i discovered the song and lowkey became obsessed with it). she knows i like her and at first she was sweet about it, but now she's completely ignoring me (we work together, so it's painfully obvious) and i'm not sure why, or if i've done something to her. so like... maybe in another life she's singing this about me. not in this one for sure.
