There is one problem with these systems that I cant get around of. When its warm outside and DHW is on with a target flow temp of 50C it will get to 46 and then to avoid excess heat making it into the heating system (when it flips over) switch to the electrical heater to finish off the last few degrees. This is some kind of fixed behavior.

Well this is fine and dandy but if you start using hot water it never gets to 50 since the tank is big (200L) on the electric heater and keeps on and on using ridiculous amounts of electricity.

I tried to cheat the system and up the compensation curve to 45 @ 30 outside (I dont care if some excess heat makes it into my heating tank (300L) but I'm not sure this is the best way to cope with this "feature'?
