love the WRX so much, glad they toned the styling down a bit, looks far more mature now.

Literally just bought one last week, used it to learn to drive stick. Probably should have learned stick b4 buying manual but oh well. Driving it now tho is so much fun. That boost of power coming out of a stop is exhilarating

Good overview of this car! For people who like driving a stick, to me this car is the obvious choice for a sporty car with lots of oomph. But I really wish Subaru would offer an 8-speed or a 9-speed for the rest of us, like those of us who have to drive in stop and go traffic every day. If I lived like out in the back roads of Texas or someplace with low traffic, I wouldn't mind a stick like this one. But the WRX is such a great car in so many ways, I just wish Subaru would put the icing on the cake ya know? Having an automatic option would increase sales of this car a lot I would think. Now there's no getting around the cheap feel of the interior, the lack of a panoramic sunroof, or the front wheel drive driving dynamic. But as a 2010 Impreza owner I can tell you that this car is indestructible and handles really well!

Amazing review! Can you review the 2016 Mazda CX-5? And when the 2017 model comes out, you should definitely review that too.

Cameron, what is your recommended sporty sedan for 2017 new vehicles?

Hey C! Great review. I like the WRX. However, there needs to be a better engine option between this and a regular Impreza. The WRX & STI are a bit high strung to be comfortable daily drivers...

The Subaru WRX main competitors are the VW Golf GTI and the Ford Focus ST.

What does it mean when they say so and so horsepower at so and so rpm?

Hey guys! I'm from argentina. Here in my country, cars are way more expensive than in the US and prices are so distorted.
That being said, I wanted to ask if you would get a Subaru WRX 2016 (we don't have the 2017), when its actually the same price as a BMW M140i or an Audi S3 or a Golf R (this one it's like 5k cheaper than the WRX). Whats your opinion??
