Comic Book Collection ASMR (Softly Spoken/Whispered)

Here I take you through my small comic book collection featuring the triggers: page flipping, crinkles, tapping, soft speaking, whispering and mouth sounds. I am not a big fan of mouth sounds - the sound of people eating infuriates me - but it was kind of unavoidable in this. I think the video turned out alright anyway..... You have been warned though =P

I am sure I said something inaccurate involving characters so I apologize. Although I find comic books worlds and their characters exciting and interesting I do not have an encyclopedic knowledge of backstories or story arcs. I also said 'the' Oracle a lot. Whoops. I had to do a fair bit of editing due to traffic sounds and intermittent coughing as I have been a bit under the weather but, I am fairly sure I edited that all out. I really hope I edited out all the swearing when things went wrong.... I also hope the lighting is forgivable... that glare though... and the picture quality is not so great.... However, I did make a video within a month of the last one so... snaps for Cat ^__^

Just a little note on mark hamil’s history as the joker, he started as the joker back in the animated series from the 90’s alongside Kevin Conroy who voiced batman. The two would continue to voice the pair in the justice league/ justice league unlimited series aswell as the batman beyond: return of the joker movie. They then came back for the arkham games and would make their near final appearances in the killing joke movie

Also, thought you'd like to know that Mark Hamill did the voice of the Joker since '94 when he was cast as Joker in Batman:TAS. After his role in Arkham City, he told reporters he wouldn't come back to reprise his role unless it was for The Killing Joke as he was a big fan of it.

I must have been about your age when "the Killing Joke" came out.... amazing that people of the same generation as my kids are still talking about it as such a pivotal piece.

The "Batgirl" type of books aren't really my go to comics -. I find them too generic. But even though I was supposed to be working with this in the background... I had to keep coming back to it. But "Year One"... absolutely one of the best.

I would love to see what you would do given an hour with a deluxe edition like Ultimate Sandman or Watchmen Absolute.

As for recommendations...
If Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman wrote it... it'll be well-written.

If epic artistry is your thing, then see if you can find some of the exquisite stuff by Moebius - his best stuff is in black and white and is like sculpture in pen and ink, it is so textured. Storytelling is more abstract though.
