This exact same sequence saved my life. I had an SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) on a tennis court. CPR was performed, then an AED was brought to the scene before the EMTs showed up and got me to the ER. I’m lucky to be here because I was somewhere where this procedure was followed and done correctly. Only 5% of the >400, 000 annually who have an SCA out of hospital survive. Most probably do because the caregivers follow instructions like this. I admit that it took several months for the inflammation of my sternum (and possibly cracked ribs) to stop hurting, but being alive is worth it.

Also, I know the video said that if you were alone, don't perform compressions and just get a defribulator, but I've heard that you need to do compressions for a minute first, then get one. This makes more sense because after 3 minutes brain damage starts to occur. So if they have have already been in cardiac arrest for one minute, and you are going to spend about 3 minutes looking for a defribulator, then you will be too late. But if you do one minute of compressions first, one minute's worth of oxygen will get to the brain and you will have an extra one minute to find a defribulator.
Also, I know it said, continue until help arrives or the patient starts breathing normally. I don't think you do that either. I think you stop when the heart starts beating. It's possible for their heart to resume beating, but for them to stay in respitory arrest, but compressions are only for a stopped heart, if the heart is beating, compressions can do more harm than good, so logically, I would say you should stop when the heart resumes beating.

Guys, this isn't a real situation, just actors. Also never ever use CPR on a fine person only if the patient is not breathed, CPR on a healthy person can cause major damage such as broken Ribs.

It's not recommended to breath into the victims mouth anymore. It takes several pumps to start the blood circulation and if you stop form artificial breathing the circulation will be broken every time for 20-30 seconds. Do not stop pumping because the brain needs blood.

Okay NO! Always start CPR if they are not breathing! It doesn't matter if they are alone. Every minute the survival rate drops 10%!

Yes that's perfect but why should they don't remove the shoes , ,,,I am also handling these situation every day in my hospital but as you know this little type of mistakes can take patient either way
