Hey, i see com lpt/section and my device is shown as unknown but it never appears in the com/lpt section. Any ideas?

Thank you for the Video, I do not have a COM port in my machine, but I successfully managed to have a Virtual COM on my Machine, my objective is to connect a GPS device to a GIS software, and the software only makes a connection through a COM Port? Any Ideas will be really helpful:)

hi, thank you in advance .. is it possible if i want rs232 serial to mini USB?
because there are many in the market that USB to Serial RS232, what if you want to change it to the opposite? so data communication between serial rs232 to USB.

Im trying to use my arduino nano.I had to download the driver. That works but it chose com 7. I* have only 2 usb ports on the front of my pc, I assume they are 3 and 4.
2 unused in the back. four total in the back. The nano still wont upload a program to it. I should just be able to connect the nano to the front usb ports, right?

in the divice manager i do not have that file (com-lpt) how do i find it to be able to id the ports and port numbers...
