I woke up this morning and had 11 of those green horned tomatoes worms feasting on my tomatoes plants and apparently those little run a muckers had been devouring for a couple days..i shut that shit down....no exceptions. Fed everyone to the chickens who went after em like federal agents in minivans busting ass on some Aunt Tiff mommas.
That was my shtf today.

Yeah i got some pushback when i called a tree hitting my house and almost burning it down a personal SHTF.

Some people dont like to be shown as human and believe they are above reproach. Usually its the ones that are always talking hypotheticals in a room Cough Cough

I am so glad you are talking about this. I try to tell people shtf can mean something different to many people and different situations. My sftf was the other night. Kids were playing with the puppy in bed. And the puppy went to the bathroom in the bed. And the kids didn't let me know until I went to bed and had a nice surprise when I laid down.

Yeah too many say SHTF has no recovery.
1) Common Emergencies - limited local area affected. Normally takes days to months to get back to daily activities.
2) Life Changing Events - Local area affected. Can take up to a year to get back to daily activities.
3) SHTF - National impact. Can take up to five years for the country to back to a somewhat normal daily activities. Government is fully functioning, some business may lag longer than five years to recover fully.
TEOTWAWKI - (WWTROL) At least national impact, most likely world impact. Governments are not functioning and won't be for years. Decades to re-establish local, county, state AND federal government. Will take even longer to get back to the level of modern conveniences we have now.

I'm 50 years old. I grew up in a very rough Family. My Mother was a West Virginia Hillbilly.. The term ( Shit hitting the Fan) was used alot in Our Family for instance : when I was a Kid, The ol Man had an old Bearcat Scanner, so Him n Mom heard everything.... I run from the Law one night, n they were chasing Me all over Hell, n I knew when I got Home Shit was going to Hit the Fan!! Nuff said.. ...
