Important Update, $1073 SSI monthly Benefit Raise, SSI Restoration act
In this video, we discuss the $1073 monthly benefit for millions of SSI beneficiaries. This is in reference to the SSI restoration act for millions of beneficiaries as we discussed in this video. SSI otherwise known as supplemental security income is a program that was set up in the early 1970s to help out older adults and people with disabilities who have limited income and resources. This program has not been reformed in many decades and one of the provisions is the SSI restoration act which would raise benefits up to the federal poverty line which happens to be $1073 each and every month right now. This is an update on the SSI restoration act. This is in reference to supplemental security income which is administered by the Social Security administration.Supplemental security income is technically not Social Security, however it is administered by the Social Security administration.

We need the restoration act for SSI. At least raise us to poverty level. I get under poverty level like a lot of us and it's hard enough paying bills, nevermind saving money... A lot of the cola raise will get taken away unfortunately between raising Medicare and taking away from snap with this inflation that keeps rising. I pray that they do something for us all 🙏🙏

But we ARE their managers. They work for US ~ not the other way around. Only thing they are quick about is giving themselves raises. I can’t believe that we aren’t collectively holding their feet to the fire about the way they are spending OUR MONEY.

We on ssi need this act to go through and yes the marraige penalty should be removed this should have been one of the top things in an anti poverty bill
